Crininhas Goes to School

The Portuguese School of Equestrian Art presents “Crininhas Goes to School”, a performance purposely designed to reveal the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art universe to a younger audience. Through the story of the young horse Crininhas who arrives at the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art from the Alter Stud Farm where he was born – the younger audience gets to know a little more about the traditions of Portuguese Equestrian Haute Ecole and the exercises that the horses and their riders once performed in the magical past times of kings and queens. The audience simultaneously gets insights into what awaits Crininhas at his new School with the story also conveying important values such as friendship, discipline, helping
each other and the spirit of sacrifice.

A moment in which, through the “questions” asked by Crininhas, everybody gets to know more about these horses, their riders and the exercises making up Portuguese equestrian art.

This provides an opportunity, through the “dream” of Crininhas, to learn more about the horses, their riders and the exercises involved in Portuguese equestrian art.
